Saturday saw the Extras take a mature side to Plymstock for a DMT2SW Merit game, with eight of the squad of eighteen having already seen forty years.
Plymstock ran out 25 – 12 victors. Included in Tics' two tries were one for recent returnee Dan Tisdall, with the conversion by Jake Hempton.
The score might have been closer had Oaks final try been disallowed as the ball appeared to be dropped over the line!
Of significance was the return to playing of last terms' regular First Team prop Liam Murray, who had yet to don a shirt because of a niggling groin condition.
In order to “ease” back in he played the whole match at scrum half demonstrating the versatility of this all rounder.
